The 2008 Hangar Dance is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. Scott AFB will be having an Air Show that same weekend (Saturday and Sunday). We will have the PX set up at Scott on Friday the 19th. We will have the B-25 & TBM at the Air Show, bring them back to Smartt Field for the Hangar Dance Saturday evening (perhaps an arrival show with Dance attendees on the ramp) and fly them back to Scott Sunday morning. Please plan on helping the Wing out during this busy weekend. We can support both the Dance and Air Show if we get strong participation from our members. Come join the fun and help your fellow members the third weekend in September!

Messerschmitt ME-109 Status

It has been determined that the sole owner of the ME-109 is a gentleman living in Florida. Access to the aircraft is still restricted and any removal of the aircraft or parts is prohibited unless authorized by me, the Wing Leader. The aircraft will remain hangared until the owner makes a final decision as to its movement/sale. Please enjoy viewing it and be careful not to disturb its present condition. Thank you.
